Free allied health communication for providers invited by their patients
My Allied Circle is an Australian patient-centric allied health coordination platform. A patient creates a circle and invites the providers who support them — for example a physiotherapist, psychologist, exercise physiologist, dietitian or GP. Everyone in the circle can share notes and documents in one place, so updates can reach the whole team without the patient passing messages between clinics.
It is communication and coordination software only. It doesn't diagnose, monitor or treat anything, and it isn't a replacement for your practice management system or your clinical records.
You can also send a patient a request to join their circle from your dashboard. The patient chooses whether to accept.
You only see patients who have invited you or accepted your request.
Provider accounts are always free — there's no cost to providers, ever. Patients have a 21-day free trial, then pay $12 a year.
Registration asks only for your name, email address, specialisation and a password. There's nothing to install: it runs in your web browser on a computer, tablet or phone.
Under the Privacy Act 1988, health information is “sensitive information”, which generally receives a higher level of protection under the Australian Privacy Principles (OAIC, APP Guidelines chapter B). APP 6 allows health information to be used or disclosed for the purpose it was collected for, with the person's consent, or for a directly related purpose they would reasonably expect, among other exceptions (OAIC, APP Guidelines chapter 6).
In My Allied Circle, the patient decides who is in their circle, and the note screen reminds you that each note is visible to the whole circle. Connections use HTTPS, uploaded documents are encrypted at rest (AES-256), and data is stored on servers in Sydney, Australia.
You remain responsible for your own privacy and professional obligations. This page is general information, not legal advice. The OAIC's Guide to health privacy and your professional association are good places to check.

No. My Allied Circle runs in your web browser alongside the systems you already use. Keep your clinical records in your own system as usual.
Your access to their notes and documents ends straight away. Patients can also delete notes in their record or close their account, so keep your own records in your practice system.
